Terms of Service

By using EditQR you agree to these terms. Short version: use the service honestly, don't point codes at anything illegal or deceptive, and we'll keep your codes working as promised.

The service

Free static QR codes are generated in your browser; we don't store them and make no ongoing commitment about them — they are plain images that work forever on their own. Paid editable codes redirect through our domain and can be repointed from your dashboard for as long as you have an active subscription or are within the 90-day grace period.

The no-dead-codes promise

If your subscription lapses, your codes keep redirecting for 90 days while we email you reminders. After that, codes show a neutral “paused” page — never a third-party ad and never a 404 — and your destinations remain stored so reactivating restores them.

Acceptable use

Codes may not redirect to malware, phishing, illegal content, or deceptive destinations. We screen destinations, act on abuse reports, and may pause codes that violate this policy without refund.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
